Register your foreign car in Spain

How it works, broadly
- The car's documents: the foreign registration certificate and the manufacturer's certificate of conformity or technical data sheet.
- An inspection at an ITV station to get the Spanish ITV card.
- Paying the taxes that apply, such as registration tax, if due, and the local road tax.
- Registration with Tráfico (DGT) and fitting the Spanish number plates.
