What data we process and why

Enquiry form: your number plate, what's wrong with the car and your phone number (with your country code). We use them to answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. When you send it, we receive it by email through the Web3Forms form service. If you prefer, you can also message us on WhatsApp.

WhatsApp, phone and email: the details you give us in the conversation, to handle your enquiry, the service and, where relevant, the sale of a vehicle.

Customers: the data needed to carry out the work, invoice it and manage the warranty.

Retention

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them. Customer and invoice data are kept for the periods required by law.

Recipients

We don't share your data with third parties unless required by law. We use providers that process it on our behalf: website hosting, the Web3Forms form service and email. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also governed by WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union. In that case, the transfer relies on the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data by writing to karsencoche@gmail.com. If you believe we're not handling it correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).

Cookies

This website doesn't set its own cookies. It only stores in your browser the language you choose and the text size (A+ button), so they're remembered next time; you can clear it at any time from your browser. It isn't used for analytics or advertising. The only third-party content is the Google Maps map in the contact section: it is served by Google, which may set its own cookies under its privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy). If we ever add a tool that uses non-essential cookies (for example, analytics), we'll ask for your consent first.

Language

The Spanish version of this policy prevails.
